The Dirtbag Diaries is the podcast I’ve been listening to for the last couple days. It’s fascinating stories from the outdoors worlds from working in Antartica, ultra running, climbing big walls in Yosemite, and everything in between. Best part is that it’s free on their website, Soundcloud, and iTunes.
I just finished reading Turn Right at Machu Picchu by Mark Adams, a fascinating book about the discovery of the famed mountaintop city of the Inca. I’ve stayed in South America for my next book, The Lost City of Z by David Grann. It talks about Percy Fawcett’s groundbreaking exploration of South America in the early 1900s, his subsequent obsession with finding the lost city of “Z” deep in the Amazon, his disappearance, and the dozens of search parties who have disappeared looking for him since then.
If you haven’t yet, check out Summer ’16 with LivinDeliberately. My butt is in there, so try to limit your views to under a dozen before your girlfriends get suspicious.
